So not too long ago, we reported that the next Stuff Pack will be teen stuff via the results of a Sims 3 community poll. Well, guess what! It’s another big name brand stuff pack like The Sims 2 H&M Stuff! Rincon Del Simmer and SimsVIP have discovered a survey/poll by asking which brands we would like to see in TS3. Well, one of them is Diesel. Anyways, “the name Diesel is under the games category when searching for friends with a certain name”.
Mega Source: Rincon Del Simmer and SimsVIP
I’m confused. This post acts like it’s a fact that the next stuff pack is themed around Diesel, but I don’t understand the difference in Diesel being listed and all the other brands listed on that list. I don’t really understand this post and it’s connection to the next stuff pack.
I am so sick of EA commercializing and milking the franchise for every fucking penny, there is no charm, for all they know we should actually have to pay 1 dollar for every fucking sim in the town.
Where is this survey?
Agh… Why am I not surprised. Shame on you EA, the horror is for us unfortunatelly.
Two branded Sims games in a row? Not liking the direction this is going, even though this one sounds a bit better than Sweet Treats.
I would rather it been the party or storytelling sp.
Um, the survey is asking what brands we would like to see available to purchase in the Store. I fail to see how that impacts the next Stuff Pack…?
Not the same. This is more like H&M stuff from TS2.
Look at the second pic. The category “Diesel” has been discovered on thesims3.com and we know that the next SP will be Teen themed. Also, the first pic is of the poll of brands that we’d like to see in the Sims 3. Thus if 1 + 1 = 2 then the next Stuff Pack is Diesel Stuff.
Here’s our post about it. Sadly, you can’t access it anymore. http://www.simprograms.com/36675/ea-sims-3-survey/
Maybe I’m just really tired but I don’t see why it saying Diesel means anything. Doesn’t it just say Diesel because someone searched for it? I don’t see it listed under ‘games’ in the picture.
I’m perfectly fine with this, if it turns out to be true. I don’t think diesel really fits into a teen stuff pack (seeing as diesel is mostly just expensive underwear), but if they want to make clothes that are actually pretty trendy i might just buy it. H&M stuff was one of the better SP’s in TS2 franchise (clothing wise), because everything they need is right there, they dont have to design anything. Personally, if they wanted to do another IKEA sp in TS3 i would buy that too! However there isn’t any real evidence implying anything about a stuff pack, or any content. I realize it’s on the search thing, but you never see any other games popping up there.
@johnbigoz; Partnering up with other companies isn’t milking the franchise. It’s a good business strategy, you don’t see anybody complaining about the free promotional Ford, Toyota, and Renault vehicles. It’s the same thing as this, just released in small store sets.
As I said, Diesel was one of those brands in the survey and has been discovered under “games” on thesims3.com. That is your proof. Look at the second pic.
Without more information on the pack, it’s hard to tell if EA do a good move… as it’s hard to be 100% that the pack is real. And the SP7 wasn’t for june? 2 SP in a row is not common. I begin to wish that the Katy Perry horror is out for sale… to see what is next.
I hope that the pack will have more clothes for men… and I don’t think about clothes for a great party or a night on the dance floor. And nobody will be surprised if EA give us a better SP. Katy Perry SP is not hard to beat.
Hopefully it’s here a Clothing store, like the Sims 2 H&M
The way I see it, it had better have either the same amount or more clothing for teen males than teen females. Sweet Treats is a female oriented game, this needs to be more towards guys like Fast Lane.
say what…when was the next stuff pack announced as teen stuff…how the hell did i miss that? could someone redirect me to the post…is it confirmed or just a pretty sure rumor… im so confused!! :/ x
