So what i don’t get is, is this a basegame world? Because there seems to be a lot of Late Night elements (clubs and celebs) so I don’t get it?

There are no Late Night elements. The ‘Nightclub’ is just a hangout with a stereo and bar (with wall speakers that played classical music. They seem to have missed that.)
The celebrities are just to add fiction to the town. I’d be great for those who did have LN for these to become Late Night elements, but the game doesn’t work that way. I was impressed with what I saw, mostly, like the story of the twins who’s parents died, so the old woman adopted them, but we still have no price for the town. There’s a lot of story in this town, not just Sims randomly thrown in, so I’m happy about that.

Ok, I’m confused. He was talking about Alice: Madness Returns, not anything Sims related. What’s going on?

About the late night question. No this isn’t a late night club but if you have LN you can replace the bar with a professional one and a mixologist will show up and it will be a late night club,

I cannot stop laughing. I thought that he looked an awful lot like American McGee. This made my day.

Townies… i don’t get why she didn’t know this. Your job is all about the Sims and you don’t know what the difference between NPCs and Townies. FAIL. lol that’s what i would say.

I have to say, that while I am REALLY looking forward to this world, I gave up watching the video after a few minutes. You needed a Dramamine to watch it. The way she kept herking and jerking the camera around and spinning it, was totally irritating. I have to say too I was worried about the slow rendering I saw in a few areas, as well as the Cho-guy Sim pausing in mid-step every few seconds. I hope this isn’t a cause for concern after so many had issues with Barnacle Bay.

Interesting video but this woman doesn’t know much about the game. She looks confused when she has to switch between families, search for a house etc.

Yes I noticed the sims were freezing too. I thought it might have been the video itself. It was probebly the pc she was playing on but I still loved this presentation.

I hope we will find out more about Hidden Springs at gamescom and a trailer will be released. Oh Graham on Twitter says that Hidden Springs will be at Gamescom thou it might be behind closed doors.

There is a open Cafe so I plan on putting a World Adventures food register there.

Hmm… still won’t pay for it. Hell, maybe I’ll make my own hidden Springs?
