Yesterday marked the second birthday of the release of The Sims 3, and the Sims 3 Team is holding a special month long event with many activities. Read what they have to say and attend their event if you happen to use Facebook:
We’ve just turned 2 and we would love for you to celebrate with us! We are hosting several events throughout the month. You can enjoy the activities at the comfort of your own home. If you share your TheSims3.com username on this Event Wall you could be randomly selected to be gifted a Store item!
To enjoy the festivities you can:
- Create a Plumbob Papercraft and share it on our Wall (http://tinyurl.com/4yobge8)
- Share The Sims memories on our Facebook Wall, Forums &/or Twitter
- Participate in upcoming Giveaways all throughout our social networks (Youtube, Twitter, Forums)
- Draw your own Sims comics and upload it to our Wall so that we can add you to the album (http://tinyurl.com/3mdznjc)
- Upload a LOLSim! (http://tinyurl.com/3rydtdo)
- Make a Plumbob out of anything around you! (I.E. paperclips, cereal, coffee pods, etc)
Why is everything always on Facebook? They have their own site, so why not use that for giveaways instead of Facebook. I sometimes feel like I’m the only one, but I refuse to use Facebook. I’ve heard way too many complaints about it, plus I don’t want everyone to know my business. I’m not about to sign up for Facebook just to enter a few contests.
