I really hope this helps, I was so close to returning this game because of so many BSODs!
I dont have medieval.. i dont want to give all my money to the cow named EA. (is this another broken game?) anyway, just wanted to say i wish they made patches this fast for sims 3.
Dont worry I cant even do anything without it crashing and i paid $100 bucks for mine and havnt even had any ecent time playing it please fiz this game ea otherwise your going to loose soo many customers. I cant even play the sims 3 either coz of the same reason
This user at the EA Sims Medieval Forum (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/5532763.page) says it fixes:
“The security wall building placement issue – where reaching level 7+ caused a big wall to come in crashing a ton of laptop users.
The mirror/bathroom issue in the throne room – this was also a common problem for laptop users.”
I have been such a fan of these games for such a long time and seriously i don’t know whether or not I would buy another Sims game. I paid like 60 bucks for this game and i cant even play it because of these damn blue screens and patches that DON/t WORk!!! How do you mess up twice???
I just wish I could actually download the patch. Every time I do it just freezes at 99%. Last night I let it go for over four hours, all the while hoping that if I just left it a bit longer it would complete the download. Of course now I cannot actually play my saved games because they apparently recognize that there is a new patch and won’t run without it.
Everyone should be happy. I can’t even get the CD to be recognized on my Win7 PC. I can at least see the install screen when I try on a Vista. I don’t even get that on my new, good PC.

There are no objects in my game now that I have loaded the patch. I mean that the objects I already had are there, but I cannot see any objects in furnish mode!

Thank god, I was getting BSOD every time I added a new building so… thank you EA, quick updates! Unlike TS3…
The Secrurity Wall displays fine now… but with this patch came a new problem… when I placed a bathtub outside… bam… BSOD.
Alright Fuck EA. The game crashes for UN-MUTING THE MUSIC! HOW THE FUCK DOES UN-MUTING THE MUSIC CRASH MY GRAPHICS CARD?!!
Wait.. I am yet to experience a single BSOD… man my PC must suck xD
Urgh my window crashes each time I try to patch it!

this shitty patch I played longer without crashing with the other patch! I’m so pissed I thought EA was better than this. I guess not… :T
Speaking of the patch, is there a log of changes anywhere?

I’ll try to download it tonight and upload it to the site. Dunno if it’ll help, but we can see
It’s weird that so many people have issues with this game… I play this game a lot on my laptop without any problems!
