To make it easier to keep updated with live service updates for The Sims, EA has created a new Twitter account – @TheSimsDirect!
No, it’s not a new fansite, it’s an account that will bring you the latest updates for server status, game patches, issues, and more that the team are investigating.
This should make it easier for everyone to keep track, if they have social media. Hopefully there’ll be something in The Sims 4 itself that pulls in the Tweets from this account for those who are not on the social network.
The Twitter has already been sharing updates about a new game update which should fix an ageing issue and groundhog day bugs.
Sul Sul ✨Tomorrow, Sept 13, we have a game patch @ 10 AM PT resolving a few issues, including groundhog day & an aging bug. 🛠️
In preparation for the patch, please remember to remove any game mods & custom content as the update may conflict with externally created content. pic.twitter.com/bUBTYgAAQV

For now though, be sure to follow the new account – or you can continue to rely on your trusted fansites such as ourselves for important updates 😉
