20th January is always an exciting day for fans of Maxis games as it’s Will Wrights birthday! He is celebrating his 59th birthday today!
Will Wright co-founded Maxis and is the mastermind behind some of our favourite video game titles including SimCity, The Sims, and SPORE. Wright left EA/Maxis in 2009 to explore other projects including his own company Stupid Fun Club, filming a series called Bar Karma, and more recently working on a mobile title called Proxi.
I want to take this moment to wish Will a Happy Birthday and extend a huge thank you to him for the impact that his video games have had on our lives.
