Following the departure of TheBlackScorpion and ownership of SimPrograms being transferred to myself (Spon1Player), we’ve made a few small tweaks to the website which we hope will be better for the long run. If you think of anything you want to see on the site, feel free to leave a comment or contact us. Check out what we have changed/added below:
We’re now a UK fansite!
Due to SimPrograms being under new ownership by myself, we are now a UK fansite. The reason for this is because the majority of our staff are in the UK (myself included). You may see more use of the letters U and S in some words!! This will not affect the content we post about.
Spore Categories Moved
Spore and Darkspore has been moved from the main navigation to “Other –> Other Games”. You can also find MySims and SimAnimals there too. The reason for this is due to the lack of updates for the Spore franchise.
SimPrograms Store
We’ve added a new item to our navigation titled “Store” where you can browse for Sims/SimCity games and related content. The store is powered by Amazon, and is incredibly handy if you want to quickly see what Sims games Amazon have on offer!
I’ve been waiting for this moment! Hooray!
Not for TheBlackScorpion leaving, I mean for SimPrograms becoming a UK Fansite! Us British must stick together! 😀
TBS left again?! :/
But yaaaay, looking forward to seeing more of your posts. 🙂
Welcome to you, Spon1Player, and a fond Farewell to TheBlackScorpion!
I am just glad to see this great Sims site keep going. 🙂
Sincerely,
Melissa
That’s really too bad he left but glad you’ll continue with the site. This and simsvip is were I get most of my info.
Congratulations on taking over the site Spon1Player!
All the best to TheBlackScorpion andhope his health continues to improve!
whats the difference between a uk fansite and an international one?
Spon1Player we should get together and chat about a few things if your down for it?
Not a lot of difference, just that we’ll be calling ourself a UK fansite and you’ll see us typing in UK English mostly, whereas before I may have typed ‘favorite’ instead of ‘favourite’. And also things like dates may be said as “DD/MM/YYYY” not “MM/DD/YYYY” Only small things 🙂
And what is it you would like to talk about? Can definitely talk to you about things.
