For the love of The Watcher! EA, please do NOT rush Maxis on this game. I hope they’ve been working on this for several years, otherwise I smell bugs in this upcoming game. I hope that’s not the case.
Maxis has now confirmed its launch for ‘Q4 fiscal year 2013’, which puts it down for launch any time from January to March 2013 on a normal person’s calendar.
Isn’t Q4 – the fourth quarter, December of 2013 – March of 2014?
Whaaat??? A few interviews ago they haven’t even finished half of the game!!

No typo. EA’s fiscal year is set up weird. Their fiscal year 2013 actually begins in 2012.
I really hope they give it time. I mean, they havent even shown off a proper video of the gameplay yet. Makes you wonder if it’s still in the state it is in the videos they show off for the Glassbox Engine – I hope not though, they may be a lot older.
