EA’s greed is just unmeasurable at this point. They are capable of everything to earn more money, even screw up the gameplay from its basis. If this is the future of the saga, or the games in general, I think the end of the world is closer than we imagine.
i think that the sims 4 will be something similiar, you will need to use real money to “unlock” things in the game.
Exactly. We saw how the quality of Sims 2 went downhill after Maxis left. It was still acceptable, though. Enter Sims 3. Bleh, and it keeps getting worse. Enter Sims Social and Freeplay, and now you have a glimpse on what Sims 4 will look like. Sims 3 is about to max out on expansions.
My guess is that EA won’t put much effort into Sims 4. It will be similar to Sims 3, less features, and everything will have to be unlocked and/or purchased. Expansions that have even less than Sims 3 did.
Yeah, this series is toast once Sims 3 is done.
