GUys, you can’t actually expect them to add a completel NEW feature (i.e a creature) because this has a alien world!
This is really lame. How can you have a space themed world with no freaking aliens? Really EA? And her excuse was so STUPID she must have spent a week coming up for it. “Well, uhm, we didn’t want to include aliens because we know some people will want to play a space themed world without them.” …………… And the rabbit holes are those “portals” that they couldn’t even take the time to make new sounds for. You can hear the door and the bell at the “bookstore portal”. That’s just LAZY. And they want us to pay $24 for this? HA. The “premium content” of the world is nice to look at but in the end it’s as useless as the fountain of youth. Anything I can do with a cheat is USELESS. I feel insulted to say the least.
This world is a waste of time with no aliens, they could have given a new skin because the skin colors we are working with can’t do a darn thing .
There are a lot of alien worlds that probably would not have aliens- in real life at least. That doesn’t bother me in the least. I do think for the price though, a new type of collectible or fish wolud have been nice.
Almost all of these premium objects are pretty boring when you use it once. Like someone said it here you can do it by cheat… And what was that lame answer that the name Aurora Terra was not approved? ?!?! They reaaaaaaaally listen to fans ugh. And I almost died of laughter when this Showtime producer said we added social featuers because fans have been asking for them. Seriously?

It would have been nice if they add some new gameplay features and aliens. All we ever get is new visuals, redesigns and buggy expansion packs which is very disappointing about the sims 3.
I’m one of the few that can’t wait to download this Thursday. I love this world aliens or not. It probelby will be buggy though if there are pathfinding issues. I hope there isn’t. I know Hidden Springs was a little laggy.

So the new premium object is the Tree of Prosperity and it raises skills. Looks cool, love the new rabbitholes too.

Rabbit holes are a step backword from the sims 2.
the sims 2 is more powerful thean the sims 3 becouse no rabbit holes.

She did say that just because Aliens were not included in LL, does not mean that their off the table. Thus, it’s still possible that we’ll get them in a future Expansion. Also said that they are all big fans of Aliens. It may take a while, but I believe we’ll eventually get them.
Well when you think about it, the community did vote for it. Now some of you on here may say “well I didnt”, but there are millions of other players who did. I mean aliens werent necessarily an added life state in the sims 2, they were in the base game already. Therefore they really didnt need to have an expansion pack based around alien themes. Even EA realizes that the store is the only place they could profit from a world like this, since an expansion based soley around aliens and outerspace worlds is kind of vague. My opinion, I dont think we’ll see the alien. They were just regular sims in TS2, you couldnt “become” an alien.
But they could mate with a Sim and said Sim would produce a Sim-Alien Hybrid.
Also, I love how we have a descendent of the Specter Family in this world.
@tbs; Well yeah, but they still didnt do anything a regular sim didnt. All that differentiated alien sims from regular sims was a skin and an eye color.
That’s the thing about Traits. They can give them psychic powers or something. Would be awesome!
