Once again we’ve been fooled by The Sims Team. Many thought that we had finally seen Starlight Shores in the Katy Perry Trailer… we was w.. wr.. WRONG! According to SimGuruGraham, they used the worlds from different Expansions for the video. I’m betting that we’ll have our first look at both Starlight Shores and the new Creature during the Producer video next week. What a long wait it shall be.
The Katy Perry trailer that came out today uses a variety of locations combining content from different expansions that we’ve released thus far. You’ll get a look at Starlight Shores soon though!

What town is that then?
I think that is Starlight Shores. Why would they make an entire town for one trailer? That’s a bit much, even for EA. And it has Showtime esque items, like the neon microphone.

That’s the Santa Monica Boardwalk in LA. That’s where they got their inspiration for the fake boardwalk in the trailer.
Like I said, we probably won’t know until the producer chat next week.
That boardwalk looks like the one from the HBO television show, Boardwalk Empire.
since when would there be that many sims in one place, most lots are very much abandoned.
altough this looks kinda cool, the pier building on the water looks pasted there, the way it looks like floating on the water.
plus i would like starlight shores to be a city, like miami.
