The upcoming Sims 3 Showtime Expansion Pack will feature not one, not two, but three versions as part of publisher Electronic Arts’ earnest attempt to confuse the heck out of buyers.
Newly announced is the Collector’s Edition, not to be confused with the Limited Edition (which is what you get when you pre-order the game) or the Standard Edition (which is what you’ll get if youtry to save some moneybuy the game after its release date).
The Collector’s Edition features items from pop star Katy Perry, ranging from a pink/purple hairstyle, an electric guitar, colorful costumes, fruit-themed stage props (like a giant banana or watermelon slice), and an exclusive poster to hang in your room that will almost certainly have creases in it.

“More Katy Perry collaborations are also planned for accessories, clothing, furniture, props and other downloadable doohickeys.”
I assume that means the other planned stuff will be sold in The Sims 3 Store.
Most likely.. Unless they are planning a Katy Perry Stuff Pack. O_O
