My god, I remembered that I had to change out the poll all without a reminder, good for me! It was a pretty good turnout too with 819 total votes:
Now that we found out the town’s name (Appaloosa Plains) in The Sims 3 Pets, whats your general feeling?
- I love the name, horses yay! (50%, 409 Votes)
- Meh, just a name (40%, 326 Votes)
- Hate it, more hills then anything else (10%, 84 Votes)
Turns out it’s not hated after all – many fans love it. I myself look forward to this new town, especially with the introduction of horses. Been wanting a country expansion for a long, long time and we’re getting a pretty good taste of country life with The Sims 3 Pets!
Speaking of towns, here’s an oddball question for you. If you were a Sim and had to pick what town you’d want to live in, which would it be? I know with polls you can only vote, but leave you comment on this post on why you picked your choice. Mine was originally Riverview, but with Appaloosa Plains coming, I’d have to choose that one.
I voted for Bridgeport simply because I’m a city person. I have lived in Atlantic City, New Jersey my whole life and can’t see me living in like a country place were you have to drive hours to get to a store, that is not for me I love being right in the center of it all.
Totally Twinbrook, I just love it to be honest.
Appaloosa Plains 🙂
I chose Riverview. Ever since the first time I watched the Riverview trailer and found out that Don Lothario returned, I knew i would love it. Then I fell in love with the town even more when I first played it! It might fall to #2 once I play in Appaloosa Plains after Pets is released.
I would choose either Barnacle Bay or Hidden Spings because those are nice. I love beaches and mountains so those would be my choices.
I went with Bridgeport. I just love the city and its the only EA world that has a colour scheme that I really like. Plus its design is really nice; its like old 1920’s charm meets present day modernism, well that’s how I see it anyway.
