They include the Generations content in the SP because it will net more sales and the hard yards of coding those objects are already done.
It’s cheap and fast, and it genuinely caters to players who want certain content without the whole EP, or who can’t afford an EP. More diverse options for more sales.
It is one of the few things EA has done right. They’re a terrible company and the Sims team is all crowd management, silence, and no genuine engagement when it comes to the community (ie, they’re incompetent at marketing), but I’ll defend them here. Including EP content in the store and SPs is a good thing. Good work, for once, EA.
It’s just that the pack will still be as sparse and terribly-over-priced-for-what-you-get as the last few SPs.
The stuff is nice, but it needs more things. They have 6 months between SP releases. If the CC community can do more in that amount of time (from month to month, EA should start shoveling out content in these SP. I do expect these location to either be filled or there to be more locations added on to it. It really boggles my mind what we get and what the price is.
I’m actually looking forward to this Stuff Pack, all others except High End Loft have been crap.
i think only outdoor living was crap…
I think Fast Lane was crap except the cars… and I am yet to purchase Outdoor living.
I thought the tree houses were going to be exclusive to Generations. I’m stunned that they put one in a stuff pack.
Also, I assumed that the sand boxes would be in Generations only.
The springy ride is really good.

This pack looks much better than the previous ones (especially the dreadful Outdoor one).
Wow, not bad. Actually, I’m excited to have some new community lot stuff. And this talk of a cafe venue got me excited, too.
fast lane was cool. got more stuff to make an actual garage.
The cafe venue is just a new Bistro rabbit hole.
I like it. I’m not sure about venues but more modern versions of those rabbitholes are a plus.
Love the modern library set.
