Concept artist Joe Spiotto spent some time working on The Simpsons Game, and while going thru the files on his computer, came across some artwork that he’d drawn to use in a videogame store within the town of Springfield. Apparently EA did not like the idea of his spoof on The Sims. You can see why below:
Little did I know when I would create this image as a bit of a joke at The Sims expense, that the next year I would be working on “The Sims 3” designing clothes for all of the characters… I don’t know why they didn’t approve this image.
I don’t even see how this is supposed to be anything like the Sims. You can’t have sims crossdress without cc. I’m guessing the person who drew this has never played a Sims game.
LOL! This is great! 😀
ShortyBoo, it’s a play on the word sims, mixed with “she” and “him”, therego She-hims, or Shims.
Oh, ok. The only real resemblance to the Sims is the font, so I couldn’t figure out why it was a spoof. I couldn’t figure out what Shims meant.
ROTFLMFAO!!!
