Another cool find from SimCookie – ItsFrantastic is the portfolio site that houses the work of one Frances Ngai, a concept artist that worked on a number of Sim games. She did a lot of work for Late Night, the Punk Teen Bedroom Set on The Sims 3 Store, various items from Ambitions, MySims PC, World Adventures and the base Sims 3 Game.
There was concept art for a jeweler’s workshop for Ambitions. And then some of the concept art for Late Night, it’s kinda depressing looking at these.
The things that should’ve been, but isn’t.

a shame how much stuff got cut, like modular buildings, a jeweler (which leads me to believe the considered having actual, ownable shops in the game), a podium (which makes me want restaurants), some of the furniture (like the island in the kitchen) and some of the interior architecture is just fabulous, compared to the empty entryways we got in high-rises. Makes me wish EA would spend more time on EP’s. It upsets me. 🙁
