According to a find by iSims, the standard Sims 3 base game is getting a new look, similar to that of The Sims 3 Deluxe in the UK. Kind of strange to see it change, but this isn’t the first time EA has made odd decisions. Just go with the flow, I suppose.

It looks terrible. It’s time for EA to get a new graphics designer. From ugly logos and tacky boxes and even resorting to plagiarizing work from a fansite, it’s just a disgrace.
I SOOOOO like the orginal better.
oh great now they have to make the PC and Mac box look like the console one… i Hate it.
Ugh, that’s really ugly. It looks like one of those basic early cover arts that are made for games that still are far from release.
EA needs to quit being cheap and money hungry! in other words… they need to quit making crap that nobody wants and make what we want.
Really, what is the point of doing this!? The original is great, and if it aint broke dont fix it EA!!
