Keep your eyes peeled on the official Sims 3 Store tomorrow. I know I will be and once it’s available, I’ll be sure to make a post letting you know (those few that are interested in it). The Sims 3 Team released 6 new photos of Barnacle Bay on Facebook, see below or check their album out.
Does anyone know whether Barnacle Bay will come with pirate clothes, or will users need to have already purchased Buccaneer’s Bounty set? Does the Bounty set include different items from those that will come with the new town?
i hate to say it but im kind of excited for Barnacle Bay… First thing i will do his upload the caliente household xD
Is it just me, or are a lot of these Barnacle Bay pictures very unprofessional in comparison with official expansion pack screenshots and whatnot?
Barnacle Bay in itself is a amateur attempt at an official world. Honestly, i could think of a MILLION better world ideas than a pirate themed world, where they can’t even act like pirates, they are just dressed like them. : ) Fail on EA’s part. If their worlds are going to be almost 20$ and have terrible ideas such as this one, I won’t participate in the buying of any of them. I have already decided not to buy Barnacle Bay, I have no need for a “Pirate-wanna-be Island” Especially when all it adds is some pirate clothes, and a remodeled diner. Simply not worth it.
I think amateurs did make this world. I think EA is farming out their work to third parties now. The whole thing just has a whiff of beginner to it.
i’m thinking i read somewhere that it comes with clothes. oh and if i don’t get this i’ll be watching the exchange because i know someone will end up uploading the caliente household.
and in a few hours the entire Sims 3 site is going down for maintenance.
awesome! i’ll probably wait until i see how much it is and what Dina and Nina look like and who that third sim is before i buy it. please oh please be cheaper than 1650.

Especially when you compare it to Twinbrook from Late Night.
That city has a ton of detail, dozens of new rabbit holes to place, an interesting layout, etc….
This on the other hand….just a island with no trees or details.
only good thing about BB is Dina and Nina. Which BTW someone has put on the exchange… their descriptions don’t mention anything about how they got there at all.
