It was rumored in the past (link 1, link 2) that Germany will see a special edition for The Sims 3 Ambitions, and today EA Germany confirms this with the announcement of The Sims 3 Ambitions Collector’s Edition! The Collector’s Edition will feature a high-quality 48 page hardcover book featuring interviews as well as development history of The Sims. It also includes sketches, artwork, facts about the game, extra digital content and even a poster!
This high-quality 48-page hardcover edition contains exclusive interviews of important persons and the development history of The Sims. Also included are extras such as a cool poster, sketches, artwork, access to more digital content, new facts and interesting facts about The Sims. The Sims ™ 3 Ambitions expansion pack is included!
At this time, it’s known to be only for Germany, but it’s possible we may see this for other regions. Play.com has a listing of ‘The Sims 3 Commemorative Edition which may be the same as above for those in the UK – however the lack of the “Ambitions” expansion title throws it off to be another base game compilation. We’ll know more information soon!
