It wasn’t fun but I pieced together the images that Amazon has up for The Sims 3 Ambitions (Amazon wouldn’t let me save the image in full size). Enjoy!

Yeah, you can zoom the pictures. I did that before. Thanks for posting those.
Looking nice! The name for the new expansion pack is really good!
😀
Sweet :p
Nice!! Thanks for finding and posting these Judhudson! I’ll be anxious to hear more about this expansion!! 😀
Isn’t that a Servo? In the third pic. That robot. It seems like the Servo from The Sims 2 Open for Business
Looks interesting 🙂 Would like to learn more.
However I won’t be getting it as my computer can only handle Sims 3 with WA and too many eps would make it unplayable 🙁 🙁
Being a teen I don’t exactly get the money adults do :/
ahhh see i knew ambitions was a better name than hobbies and professions..
i hope they have teachers…
Ice sculptures and servo! Mine eyes dazzle.
looks weird??? but it might be cooler when we learn more about it.
The robot in the picture is not a Servo! It doesn’t look like one. Have you ever played Open for Business? This robot resembles more like a Star Wars one. I hope the real Servo will make it in the game. While the robot looks good it’s technology is light years before the Servo one. After all Servo’s waist is only an energy ball.
@ ludogego – Just because it doesn’t look like one, doesn’t mean that it isn’t…
😉
OMG!!!! looks much much better than WA
As for the Servo-robot thing, don’t forget The Sims 3 is set before all the others, so perhaps robotics is still in its infant stages, hence a robot with less… floaty energy-ball waists and such.
Of course, this doesn’t explain why The Sims 3 world has HDTVs and the like and then, by the time of TS1 in storyline terms, will have curiously reverted to late 90s/early 00s tech. 😛
Personally I prefer the newer servo. More classic robot is good, as far as I’m concerned. I wonder how customisable it is?
Well let’s not forget that there is a statue of a Servo in the Science Facility, so I don’t think a time line goes into this.
I personally think he’s an inventor, not a robot maker. I mean, the thing behind him looks like a door with a clock, perhaps a time machine to revert back to a previous age or to grow up to the next one? Either way, I imagine the higher a Sim’s mechanical/logic skill, the better inventions they can make and sell. That’s what I’m guessing anyway.
Beatnuki, The Sims 3 storyline is actually considered a reboot, meaning that it’s as though the other two storyline had never existed and the main storyline is starting all over (much like with the new Halloween and Friday the 13th movies). That is why Sims 3 has more modern technology than in Sims 2 and 1. This should eliminate the confusion that some people had about Kaylynn being slightly older than Mortimer or why Mortimer and Bella are children with better technology than in Sims 1, or even why Don Lothario is older than most of the old characters when he really should be younger, possibly not even existing yet. I just thought I’d clear that up. 🙂 And I can’t wait for AMB! I am sure that will be the nickname for it.
Actually, the sims 3 is in the past. There are just plot holes, because EA messes up sometimes. But Don Lothario is older because he came from the future, he was somehow thrown into the past. Forgot the whole story.
It’s in the past but it’s still a reboot. How can the past have future technology and modern clothing, etc.? That makes no sense. They just wanted to start over with the storyline to avoid having the classic characters dead from old age.
whats it mater if the robot is the servo or not, and if “the sims 3 is set before the others” who cares, i like the new robot bette, more realistic, the old servo is to futurstic and fake looking…
