Sims 3 Nieuws picked up on a new interview with producer Lyndsay Pearson, sharing a few new details (although most are what we already know) on the upcoming expansion pack, The Sims 3 World Adventures:
GG: In The Sims 3, players could customize their homes with their own color schemes painted all over the couch, chairs, beds and whatnot. How will you make sure that people will be equally enthusiastic to create tombs and dark secret pyramids? It doesn’t seem as cheery as the original The Sims 3.
LP: We expect that the enjoyment in building tombs will come from setting up interesting puzzles and experiences for your Sims. It’s also important to note that a “tomb” can simply mean a secret area of a lot. Maybe that area is a fancy, hidden queen’s chambers or a lost library. When you think about it that way, the creative possibilities are really wide open. You’re not building dark tunnels, it could be anything. There are many adventures your Sims can have in France and in China. Photography is also very cool in the game. Your Sims can take pictures on their travels and display at home and you can share those on The Sims 3 Exchange as well.
