Ugh…I’m not a fan when it comes to DLC and micro-transactions in video games.  I’m accustomed to getting all the stuff the first time I paid for the items.  But DLC is the new ‘hotness’ for the games of today, I might as well grit my teeth and get used to it.  It was only a matter of time before Apple realized this and implemented it in their 3.0 OS for the iPhone and iPod touch coming this summer.

While I’m guilty to purchasing content for PC/Console games, I’m not looking forward to doing the same on the iPhone.  After all, I already spend $80 a month for the phone bill, with music, games and apps on top of that.  With all of the money I drop and as small games are on the iPhone already, I don’t think we should pay more.  Just stick with the free updates.

I suppose I’m going to be a sucker…I may end up buying some stuff when The Sims 3 is updated to allow transactions on the iPhone.
