For those who still haven’t pre-ordered The Sims and live in the UK or can order online from HMV, check their offer out. If you buy The Sims 3 from their online store you will receive a “Mod Squares” pattern in which you can apply to clothes, furniture, walls and more. You’ll also get their special Sims 3 Mouse with a plumbob picture on it. What they don’t tell you is that the mouse will probably stop working after 5 hours of use 😛 Okay, maybe 8 hours top. Oh, and who still uses a white mouse anyways (besides Macs)? I guess I’ll slap a Sims 3 sticker on my mouse so I can beat you all to it 😉

The mouse is unimpressive but all these textures (although ugly) cropping up as pre-order items is interesting. It either means that EA knows how to import textures which in the long run allows the community to figure out how or they’re already in the game and they’ll use an unlock code similar to how Pets did it which means the codes will be online within a week anyways. Either way it’s a win win situation even though I’d prefer having something to help work towards custom textures because I don’t have much hope for what’s in the game considering how ugly the stuff they’re giving as a bonus is.
lol that review at the very top was funny my friend was trying to make me jealous saying that she paid 29.99 the same as me and is getting a mouse t shirt and some extra then she said the mouse was glittery and pretty but i didn’t really care but now i cant help but laugh. i didn’t really like Sims 3 they could have made it a lot better and the stuff is ugly but after a while of playing sims 3 you get bored sims 2 was a lot better
