Sims 3 Pre-orders are available

If you want to pre-order The Sims 3 (to be honest, I wouldn’t recommend doing so right now, see below) then Gamestop and Amazon is starting to take orders.

No official release date has been announced (I’m betting sometime in March of 09′) but Amazon is reporting January 1, 2009 and Gamestop predicts April 7, 2009.

Call me crazy, but I honestly don’t see a point in pre-ordering. The only way I ever pre-order is if the game comes with cool swag like a t-shirt…Also, you get the short end of the stick when you pre-order as you have to wait for it…
